CRIMUN: The future of global leadership is born here

Did you know that Costa Rica has a program where teenagers all around the world can experience a unique diplomatic adventure?

There is! It is called CRIMUN (Costa Rica International Model of United Nations), and it is a conference that brings together high school and college students to debate global issues, propose solutions and develop essential skills.

CRIMUN is more than just a simulation, it is a great opportunity to develop multiple abilities such as public speaking, negotiation, critical thinking, research and leadership in an international environment. During the conference, each student represents a member country part of the Organization of the United Nations and advocates for its interests to a community of future leaders passionate about changing the world.

Since its first edition, CRIMUN has been a formative experience, helping hundreds of students develop their skills in order to apply them in their careers, social projects and even in international forums.

Diplomacy, empathy and respect for diversity, are fundamental pillars in an interconnected world and they are values that the conference promotes.

How can you participate in CRIMUN?

• Any student currently studying high school or college can sign in, it does not matter if  you do not have previous experience in MUN. 

• CRIMUN offers workshops for new delegates previous at the conference, supported by high command and chairs and a team of guides who are with you during all the preparation phase. 

• You can participate individually or as a part of a high school or college delegation.

What are the benefits of participating in CRIMUN?

• A certificate of participation with curricular value.

• You will improve your technical and soft skills.

• Access to an international network of students committed with global action (networking).
