Transit is an important phenomenon within modern migration and which has grave repercussions within human rights subject matters. people in this situation face dangerous interception tactics, collective expulsions and infractions of the principle of non-refoulement, denial of economic, social and cultural rights, arbitrary detention, inadequate detention conditions, violence, abuse and exploitation.

In this committee delegates will have the opportunity to ideate effective measures to placate the voids in human rights protections for migrants in transit. Likewise the responsibility to design multilateral agreement that reinforce international law and international humanitarian law.​
