Informal Employment of Young Persons

in Costa Rica (National Committee)

During the pandemics 2 years the unemployment rates increased, such that by 2021 the International Labor Organization (ILO) indicated that the recovery process is extremely slow. Due to this, the recovery has been in the informal sector according to the report on the labor outlook for Latin America and the Caribbean. It is expected that participants generate proposals so that informality does not affect the growth processes of young people.
